Meet the Creator

Hi, I'm Neshia.

I'm the hands, the heart, and the intention behind Growing Intentions.

I create kokedama—living botanical art rooted in the Japanese tradition of bringing nature indoors with simplicity and purpose. Each piece I craft is made by hand, with presence, care, and a deep belief that the plants we tend have a way of tending us right back.

Why Kokedama?

I didn't just fall in love with kokedama because of how beautiful they are — though they truly are. I fell in love with the ritual of caring for them. The way you hold the moss ball to feel its weight. The way you soak it slowly and intentionally. The way it asks you to slow down.

That's what Growing Intentions is all about: growing with purpose, not just speed.

Rooted in Georgia

I'm based in Georgia, where I craft every piece of living botanical art by hand and connect with my community at local markets and pop-up events — including the Acworth Farmer's Market. If you've ever visited us in person, you know there's something special about seeing these creations up close.

Let's Grow Together

Whether you found us online or at a market, I'm so glad you're here. Every kokedama I send out carries a piece of my intention with it — and I hope it brings a little more life and presence into your space.
