About Our Products
What is a kokedama?
Kokedama is a Japanese art form where a plant's roots are wrapped in moss and bound together, creating a beautiful, soil-free living sculpture. Each piece is handcrafted with care and intention — no two are exactly alike!
Are your kokedama arrangements made to order?
Yes! Each kokedama is handcrafted by Neshia with presence and care. Because of this, slight variations in size, shape, and moss texture are natural and part of what makes each piece unique.
What plants do you use?
We select plants that thrive in a kokedama environment — ones that are resilient, beautiful, and meaningful. Plant availability may vary by season. Check our shop for current offerings!
Plant Care
How do I water my kokedama?
Submerge the moss ball in a bowl of room-temperature water for 10–15 minutes until fully saturated. Gently squeeze out excess water and allow it to drip dry before returning it to its display spot. Water when the moss feels light and dry to the touch — typically every 1–2 weeks depending on your environment.
How much light does my kokedama need?
Most of our kokedama do best in bright, indirect light. Avoid placing them in direct harsh sunlight, which can dry out the moss quickly. A spot near a window with filtered light is ideal.
What if my moss turns brown?
A little browning is normal, especially in drier environments. Make sure you're watering consistently and keeping it away from air vents or direct heat. If the plant itself looks unhealthy, reach out to us and we'll help troubleshoot!

How long does shipping take?
We process and ship orders within 3–5 business days. Shipping times vary by location. You'll receive a tracking number once your order is on its way!
Do you ship live plants?
Yes! We carefully package each kokedama to ensure it arrives safely. However, please note that live plants are perishable, and we cannot guarantee their condition due to extreme weather or carrier delays.

We occasionally offer local pickup at events and pop-ups in the Atlanta area. Follow us on social media to stay updated on where we'll be next!
